The Spring 2008 fine artisan jewelry collection
includes many more styles in 18k Yellow Gold and 14K Rose Gold. Stones in Royal dramatic colors, wrapped in antiqued Sterling Silver with 18k and 22k gold accents create a warm and sophisticated look, rich, romantic and edgy, feminine and flirty at the same time. Long lengths are very hot, a trend that will continue through at least the Spring of 2008 All long necklaces come with a shortner, making it easier to double or quadruple without having to worry about the clasp. Charms and fringes are another very strong influence, with 1920's inspired styles that are just right for the Fall looks this season. Earrings are a bit smaller but not less important. Faceted pearls are
romantic, but the blackened Sterling Silver gives them a punk/goth/rock'n'roll
edge. The bracelet has returned, in either wide multiple strands of beads or structured like bangles and cuffs. The wrapped rings are fantastic, huge baubles of spectacularly clear
faceted genuine gemstones are wrapped in Gothic Sterling Silver, reflecting the
light and the world around you in hundreds of mini screens. Rose Gold Filled and
18kt solid Gold. Large Circle earrings are hammered and textured as they would
have been thousands of years ago and probably will be in the future. All
styles are limited, not produced in any large numbers and many are unique and cannot be repeated.
