Double Width Gold Filled Bracelet with 14k Gold Crazy Money and Happy Birthday Charms

Gorgeous double width 12k Gold Filled vintage starter charm bracelet with two 14k solid gold charms. one of which is a great whimsical "Crazy Money" charm. It is in wonderful vintage condition, ready for your own charms.

The bracelet measures 6 3/4" when closed, so that is the wearable size.  It is 5/8" wide, double links on a double row which arch up at the center when worn. It is a stunning bracelet on it's right.  It is marked 12k Gold Filled and the maker's mark, which is "American".

There are two solid gold charms, both test as 14k gold but only the hammer on the Crazy Money charm is marked. I believe whoever added the charms to the bracelet removed the original jump rings and substituted them for split rings. The marks on charms tend to be on the jump ring due to their size and to the fact many times they are figural and dimensional.

The Crazy Money charm is fabulous, a little rectangular box with a neatly folded brand new old real Dollar bill in it. Two of the sides on the little cube are glass and you can see the money inside. It reads: "In case of emergency break glass" on one side. Another reads "Crazy Money" and yet another has a large raised dollar sign.   The idea is that if you went out and things got a little crazy, you could use the dollar for cab fair. Cute, isn't it?

Crazy Money charm measures 9/16" wide with sides of 7/16".  The hammer is 9/16" long with good detail, it holds the 14k mark and the maker's mark which I cannot make out. Charm is in perfect condition.

The second charm is a "Happy Birthday" charm with a heart shaped green crystal. It is not a natural stone, it is glass. Charm measures 3/4" in diameter. In very good condition. This charm has been sold and is no longer available.
