Sterling, Gold and Abalone Inlaid Tortoise Shirt Button

Gorgeous little jewel in Tortoise Shell with Sterling Silver, Gold and Abalone inlay. It measures 13/16" in diameter. It is in good condition for it's age, the Tortoise is not dry. It has lost a little bit of the Silver but it is gorgeous just the same. The tiny little flower at the center has Abalone shell leaves, Sterling petals and Gold vine curls.

Dates from about 1880, Late Victorian Period.
