14k Yellow Gold Emerald Cut Ruby Ring Art Deco to Retro

This stunning vintage ring is transitional from Art Deco to Retro Periods. Made in solid 14k Yellow Gold, the stone is lab created as used in most rings of it's time.The sheer size and color of the emerald cut of the Ruby stone are amazing. The stone measures 12mm by 10mm or about 7/16" by 3/8" wide and is set high, so the top reaches over 1/4" above the hand. The color is vivid berry.The cut is lovely too with sparkles that seem to frame the stone.

Ring is size 6 US, weighs 4.7 grams or about 3 pennyweights. Marked 14k on the inside of the shank, carefully tested to verify metal content. It is in excellent vintage condition with one very tiny, tiny nick on the stone alongside the table (name given to the flat area on the top of a faceted stone)
