Belts & Buckles

Amazing vintage China made belt with tasseled ends. I assume it is a belt, although I am honestly not sure. The main cord is bright pink although not as neon color as it may appear on your screen. One side is finished with a tasel, the other just a knot. On this cord there is a Champleve enameled butterfly buckle. On the bottom of the buckle there is a bar. This bar holds 4 different tasseled pendants.

One is yellow with a large silver metal piece that resembles an urn. On each of the urn's angles there is a coral and enamel flower pendant.  There is a simbol or Chinese letter chased on the body of the urn. The top is filigree with applied flowers. This pendant metal portion is 2 3/8" long by 1 7/8" at the widest point and almost 1" at the thickest point. Overall length is 12 1/2" from the bar at the buckle to the tip of the tassel.

One is Royal Blue, from the fancy knot handgs a sheath. This sheath is nicely detailed and measures 3 3/8" long. The length overall including the tassel is 13".

One is light blue and short with three pendants. One is what looks like a pod, it is enameled in Cloisonne and Champleve styles, two are stylized flowers with light blue enamel. There is a bit of loss on the light blue enamel center portion on one of the flowers. Overall length is approximately 4 1/4".

The last charm or pendant resembels a flat helmet (for lack of better comparison). It is silver filigree with Coral accents. It may have held something but did thisis how I found it. Overall measurements of the metal portion are 2 1/2" long on the sides, 2" at the widest point and almost 3/4" thick. Overall length including the tassel is 12 1/2" long.

Tassels feel like silk, please note that some straightening out of the ends might be need as they threads tend to tangle up. Overall length of the bright pink cord is 50" end to end. Butterfly buckle is 1" tall by 1 3/8" in wingspan.  In good condition, no loss of enamel on the butterfly.
