Biomorphic Modernist Pearl and Sterling Ring
Very unusual Modernist ring in Sterling Silver with a large baroque pearl nested among biomorphic shapes.
Ring is a size 4.5 US. It rises a bit over 3/8" from the hand, the shank is somewhat hand forged and not perfecly straight, blending with the forms above.
The baroque pearl is very pretty, with very good orient and a steel gray color. It might be natural or cultured, my feeling is it is natural.
It is a very unusual ring, hard to describe and looks spectacular on the hand. You will not easily find anything like it!
It is marked with a D and another shape which could be a K in a different script.
