Quality - Many of the designers of Vintage Costume Jewelry started out as Fine Jewelers. Panetta was a master in Platinum and Alfred Philippe of Trifari had worked as Jeweler for Cartier.

Variety - There is a style for every mood and occasion, and many styles can be changed, parts can be added or taken away,. Coro Duettes are a perfect example of that. A pair of dress clips that becomes a brooch. How creative is that?

Green - If you like jewelry and live a green lifestyle, you can't go wrong with vintage jewels.

Price - although some rare pieces can go into thousands, there is no way you could by the quality, style, variety and design for the same price today.

Investment - if you know the trends you can make some pretty good investments, on occasion.

Scaasi Jewel Tone Runway Bracelet

Bold and beautiful large jewel toned rhinestones are linked together to create this show stopper bracelet. The stones are actually made of Lucite, so it is comfortable to wear. Bracelet features faux Sapphires and Amethysts, the center piece is a huge Emerald navette which measures 1 3/8" long by 3/4" in the setting.  Overall bracelet length is 4 1/2" long when clasped with the toggle clasp. It is 1 7/8" at the widest point. In excellent condition, estimated to date from the 1990s.

Reverse Painted Lucite Butterfly Sterling Pearl Necklace
Darling reverse painted Lucite butterfly necklace. The butterfly is hand painted on the reverse of cut out Lucite. The antennae are Sterling with fresh water pearl tips. Pearls are cultured and also used as the element connecting the butterfly to the lovely delicate chain. It's perfect for those who like easy to wear light jewelry. It is signed on the reverse IB and the number 98. It might be the year it was made, 1998, not quite vintage.

Jesara Maltese Cross Pendant Brooch
This pretty Maltese Cross pendant or pin/brooch dates from the 1990s or more recently. Made and signed by Jesara, whose trademark was established in late 1992 and expired in 1999. Brooch measures 2 1/2" wide by 2 1/2" tall. It has a built in bail on the back which accommodates a chain or cord up to 5mm in thickness. Composed of gold plated metal, faux pearls and carved red drop shaped rhinestones with clear round rhinestone accents. It is in excellent condition.

Pretty and sparkly Addison Ross designer key chain shaped as a purse with a butterfly on it. It is all done in solid meta, gold plated and cold enameled with applied rhinestones. Main color is yellow.
