Czech
One of collector's favorites, vintage Czech jewelry spans many decades and runs alongside the skilled glass works of the period. The assortment and variety of necklaces, bracelets, earrings and brooches is simply amazing. The technique is excellent and authentic Vintage Czech Jewelry is highly prized. The poured glass beads and pendants include a wide variety of themes, from Egyptian Revival to pure Art Deco. Beware of contemporary pieces being sold as "just found treasures", look at the reverse side of the piece. The authentic period ones are always finished and plated and often show wear which is consitent of time and regular use.

Machine Age Czech Glass Necklace Bracelet Set
Vintage Art Deco Machine Age Czech glass necklace and bracelet set with solid Brass accents. It is a gorgeous style, geometric yet feminine. Necklace measures 16 7/8" long and bracelet is almost 8 1/4" long although the wearable length for the bracelet is shorter.

Vintage Citrine Czech Glass Necklace Belle Epoque
Vintage Amber or Citrine color Czech glass flapper choker necklace. If you watch Boardwalk Empire you will see the characters wearing styles similar to this one as this is the era this necklace was made, around 1920s. The necklace features a large oval pendant on a filigree setting and a wire wrapped beaded chain. Each bead has it's own set of filigree caps. It looks gorgeous on and is a beautiful color, akin to Citrine of the best quality.

Fabulous shade of pink combined with vivid Emerald green glass stones adorn this quite old Czech filigree brooch, It has an elongated oval shape, it is made of brass which has aged beautifully to a gingerbread patina (no decay, no verdigris).

Art Deco Peking Glass Silver Pendant Necklace
Beautiful lacy setting for this Art Deco Czech glass Peking Glass pendant, the pendant is much older than the chain. They were found together, so are kept together. Pendant measures 1 11/16" in diameter not including the filigree bail. The pendant is unsigned. Accented by faux seed pearls at the cardinal point. There is a line on the pendant but due to it's bezel setting it is not a concern. The pendant is silver plated and unmarked, dating from the 1920s. The chain is newer, marked Sarah Coventry Sterling. The chain measures 18" but can be worn shorter at 17" and 16" by clasping at the shorter lengths. There are built in jump rings on the chain. The chain is likely to date from the 1970s.

Carnelian Color Czech Glass Art Deco Brooch Pin
Very nice vintage brass filigree and molded Czech glass small brooch or pin. It measures 1 5/8" wide by 15/16" and almost 1/2" tall at the center. The center cabochon is Carnelian colored molded glass with scroll and vine pattern. It has a rectangular shape and is rounded at the top. At each side there is a small square cab of the same type and color of glass. Metal underneath is Brass. At one time it was fully plated in Chrome, but most of it is gone now. It looks good and adds to the vintage character of this lovely pin.

Vintage Red Czech Glass Necklace
It's very hard to find these necklaces nowadays. This one is very special, lipstick red tubular beads finished by bead caps in sand color, which are also carved. The glass is likely poured into a mold but the look is carved. To enhance the pattern on the red beads gold paint was applied to recessed areas. It is mostly there, but the gold has mellowed in color which in my opinion just makes it more appealing

Vintage Czech Camphor Glass Beaded Necklace
Camphor glass gets it's name from the chemical counterpart, a resin from an evergreen tree that used to be sold in pharmacies of the old days as a first aid antiseptic and an after-shave for nicks for the gentleman. Sold in square blocks of translucent white resin, it looks just like etched glass.

Czech Glass Amber & Clear Long Flapper Necklace
This is a beautiful necklace! Gorgeous golden yellow amber or Citrine color beads alternating with clear ones. The larger beads at the center of the necklace are clear and measure 5/8" in diameter by 9/16" long. The amber color ones are 18mm in length or 11/16" by 5/16" in diameter at the center. Age is circa 1920's.
