Vintage Egyptian Revival Stone Scarabs Gold Filled Wide Bracelet, Chalcedony Scarab Earrings Included! This is one of the prettiest carved scarab bracelets I have seen in a long time. It is much bigger, better made and of better quality than the usual. It is also longer.
There are 4 scarabs, each 13/16" tall by 19/32" wide and almost 3/8" high at the center measured in the setting. Each is cabochon set, setting edges are serrated . The stones are Blue Onyx, Striped Agate in Sand/White, Green Onyx and Striped Agate or Sardonyx in Rust/White color.
Each scarab setting is connected by two fancy links to a large 13/16" by 11/16" Gold Filled station in elaborate Victorian Revival design. The clasp is a replacement, but it works well within the bracelet design and is large enough to make it easy to open and close. There is also a safety chain with it's own clasp. Each of the fancy links that connect the scarabs to the stations is soldered.
Bracelet fits a wrist up to 7 1/2", maybe 7 5/8". It is in excellent vintage condition and estimated to date from the 1930s Victorian Revival period.
Earrings are included as there is a slight difference in the color of
the stones. They are natural Chalcedony, blue, and measure approximately
11/16" by 1/2" wide. They are also gold filled and screw backs.
Earrings are marked "Admark, 1/20 12k Gold Filled", the bracelet has no
mark and was carefully tested.
