Fabulous Flapper Necklace Cascading Earrings Slag Glass Set in Turquoise and Clear

This is one of the most beautiful vintage sets from Japan I have ever seen. The beads are slag glass with Turquoise center and clear body. They are also faceted. The color is incredible!  The beads in the earrings are smaller in size than the necklace. The style is also quite unusual. The set includes a very long flapper style necklace and cascading clip earrings.

Each bead on the necklace is individually wire wrapped. Measurement of each bead is 5/16" diameter by 5/32" long.  The measurement of the necklace is 53" .  Since it has a spring clasp, you can wear it as a multiple strand.  There are several ways you can wear the necklace, including wrapping it around the wrist as a bracelet.

Earrings are gorgeous cascade style clip backs. The beads move as you move, catching the light reflections.  Overall measurement is approximately 1 1/2" long by 1 1/8" wide. Of course these measurements change as you move, as the threads sway.  Earrings are marked Japan on the black of the clip backs. There are no marks on the necklace.

Set or demi parure is in excellent vintage condition, dating from the 1960s.
