A very small oil paint becomes a beautiful pin or brooch when framed in 800 Silver. Wonderful detail on a beautiful flower vase subject, it even displays Impasto! Impasto is an oil painting technique where the paint is applied thickly, generally with a flexible metal spatula, in order to create texture which rises from the canvas.

Pink Flowers Small Framed Signed Oil on Board

Very nice small signed oil on board painting with impasto accents. Frame measures "5 1/2" wide by 7 1/2 " tall by 7/8 " deep and is made of wood. Beautiful vivid colors against a softly graduated background. Signed L. English (I believe). Frame is gilt in antiqued gold and quite elegant. I could not find any information on the artist.
