Vintage Georgian Revival Silver Tone Necklace
Although more an adaptation than a true Revival style, the Georgian style is still evident in the connectors and overall feeling of this delicate necklace. Composed of flat silver tone snake chain which is also textured, the center piece is formed by three graduated lengths and joined by a textured triangle accented by a diamond shaped blue stone. It is very well made and of good quality.
The chain itself is 1/8" wide and has wonderful flow. Each of the triangular connectors, which also have cut out details, is 11/16" wide by 1/2" tall. The art glass blue stones resemble Lapis Lazuli. Although it is a somewhat delicate necklace the weight is very nice and details abound.
Overall wearable length of the necklace is 16 1/4" . It is unsigned and in excellent condition, circa 1960s.
