Joseph Wiesner NY Rhinestone Chatelaine Brooch Watch Pin

Absolutely gorgeous large chatelaine brooch and colored rhinestones. The colors are beautiful as most of Wiesner's designs. This large pin is a book piece featured in Costume Jewelry 202 by Julia C. Carroll, on page 477.

The square cut stones are blue, the three large ovals are intensely pink, two round ones at center are lavender/gray and the others are round clear; The blue ones are 1/4", the oval ones are 3/8" by 1/4" on the sides, the center one is 1/2" by 3/8" wide. The round clear rhinestones are 1/4" round for the largest, 3/16" for the medium ones and 1/8" for the smallest ones.

Overall this beautiful pin measures 3" in length and 1 1/4" across the bright Pink rhinestones. It has a c clasp with safety catch and an open bail for your pocket watch, locket or chatelaine.

In excellent vintage condition, signed in the back "Joseph Wiesner, NY" inside an oval. Circa 1950's, dated from the mark, in Art Deco style.
