Massive Pre Ban Ivory 10k Gold Dimensional Elephant Pendant

Exquisitely carved and adorned with a 10K Gold saddle or blanket, this pre ban Ivory is a beautiful piece of jewelry. It is fully dimensional and will stand on it's own when set on a surface.

The carving is very nicely done and the blanket is adorned with Repousse pattern. The Ivory displays beautiful grain, which I tried to capture in the images. It is in remarkably good condition with some patination to the Ivory a it is expected.

It measures overall almost 3" (8cm) long, 1 1/4" (3.5cm) tall not including the bail or the jump ring and is 3/4" 92.5cm) at the widest point. It weighs 22.1 grams.

There are no markings on the gold and it was electronically and acid test with a guaranteed content of at least 10K. Circa 1920s and in wonderful vintage condition.
