Vintage Modernist Ring Carnelian Slab on Sterling Silver

Elegant streamline lines that are wide enough to cover a portion of the fingers at each side of the ring.  It is a slab of natural Carnelian stone set in Sterling Silver. It is such a well made ring that the design allows for great comfort when worn.

The face of the ring measures a bit over 1" wide by slightly over 3/8" tall and 1/4" high from the hand.  It is not a small ring.

Ring size is 7 US. It is marked simply "Sterling" on the inside of the shank, no maker's mark. In very good vintage condition, circa 1970s.  There are a few very tiny chips on the edge of the stone which are not visible without magnification and are due to regular wear. Images are greatly enlarged to show detail. No cracks and no repairs.
