This vintage Biomorphic Modernist 900 Silver necklace is one of the most unusual necklaces I have ever seen. Each solid link has a form that is abstract and organic at the same time, resembling the trunk of a tree or the under-cap of a mushroom. Or is it a sea creature?

It is a heavy necklace and very well made, but not signed. Likely to date from the 1950s.  Measures 30" long approximately, each link is 1 11/16" long by 7/8" in diameter. It is in excellent vintage condition, cleaned and hand polished but leaving the original patina intact.

Unsigned, it is quite heavy at 4ozt. Acid tested to verify Silver content.  It is a heavy necklace, if you are not comfortable wearing heavy jewelry this necklace may not the ideal for you.
