Quality - Many of the designers of Vintage Costume Jewelry started out as Fine Jewelers. Panetta was a master in Platinum and Alfred Philippe of Trifari had worked as Jeweler for Cartier.

Variety - There is a style for every mood and occasion, and many styles can be changed, parts can be added or taken away,. Coro Duettes are a perfect example of that. A pair of dress clips that becomes a brooch. How creative is that?

Green - If you like jewelry and live a green lifestyle, you can't go wrong with vintage jewels.

Price - although some rare pieces can go into thousands, there is no way you could by the quality, style, variety and design for the same price today.

Very cool Modernist neck ring choker necklace made of single wire lengths that come together at the ends. The center features a round Lucite tall cabochon.. Elegant and streamlined design, very well made. Silver plated, it has no plating loss. Inside length of neck ring is about 15". It can be adjusted larger. Center is 1 1/8" tall.

Vintage Napier Gas Pipe Egyptian Revival Modernist Necklace
Very cool vintage necklace incorporating a gas pipe chain with black enamel centerpiece. Design incorporates elements from the Art Deco era, Egyptian Revival and Modernist styles, but the necklace is from the 1960s and very Mod. Metal is gold plated, the center piece is enameled black. Closes with a fold over clasp.

Measurements are:

Overall length is 15 1/2" measured along the inside curve.

Width at the enameled center is 5/8", depth is 1/4".

Gas pipe flexible portion is 5/8" near the center and graduates down to 3/8" near the clasp. It is 3/16" thick through out the necklace.

All measurements are approximate. Necklace is signed "Napier" on the reverse side at the center. In excellent vintage condition.

Fun Mod Modernist neon color glass beads flower brooch. It is entirely hand made and reminiscent of a "tremblant" or trembler as the "petals" move a bit when you move. The color is Neon Orange and it dates this brooch to the 1960s. Diameter is approximately 2 3/4" . There are no maker's mark and is in excellent vintage condition.

Vintage Modernist Retro Rose Gold tone necklace measures 16 1/2" in wearable length. It is composed of linked metal disks. Each disk is approximately 1 1/16" in diameter. Disks are concave with a smaller curved disk over it. The resulting effect is great, the ambient reflects on the disks and changes as you move. It is also subtle. The rose gold tone is difficult to find.
