Monet 1980s Jappaned Metal and Enamel Asymmetrical Pop Art Necklace and Earrings Set

Great looking statement necklace by Monet. Made in the 1980s with Pop Art influences of bright colored enamel on gun metal (japanned). The asymmetrical style completes these striking look.

Necklace measures 17 1/4" long. The large sliding charms range in size from 1 3/8" in diameter for the sand/black color round one up to 2 1/8" tall by 2" wide for the red and sand "butterfly" shaped one. Another unusual feature of this necklace is the double clasp. It opens both left and right, with one fold over clasp at each end of a rectangular ring. You can also make it about 3/4" shorter by removing that link. Marked "Monet" on the back of each clasp and on the larger slide pendant.

Earrings are large at 1 1/4" in diameter, approximately. They are clip backs and signed on the back.
