Vintage Art Deco Period Canetille Bangle Bracelet Made in China for Coro in the 1930s

This gorgeous bangle has some very unusual; marks. It is marked "Made in China, Coro" and it was made in China for Coro  in the USA.  This predates WWII and sets the bracelet in the 1930s. It is also very interesting that it is made in Chinese style for the American Market and therefore it is a Chinese Export piece as well.  Ethnic styles were all the rage in the 1930s and I am happy to see they were this authentic to their origin. I have also seen a few pieces of Coro jewelry made in Mexico, in traditional Mexico style.  However, I believe that the pieces made in China for Coro are very scarce.

This bracelet features outstanding workmanship and incredible detail. The metal is Copper and it is 22k Gold plated as precious jewelry in China is traditionally made using 22k Gold.  It is in very good condition for this age but some areas are starting to darken.

Measurements are 11/16" wide by 3/16" thick, inside diameter is 2 5/8". All these measurements are approximate.
