Vintage Old Chinese Silver 12 Signs of the Zodiac Bangle Bracelet Set

Pair of old Chinese Silver bangle bracelets with intricate filigree and applied figures. The figures represent each of the 12 signs of the Chinese Zodiac in great detail. They are the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake,Horse,Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and the Pig. Each of these is represented. The filigree is very well made too, there is a lot of detail on these hand wrought bracelets.

Each bracelet has an opening, so they are adjustable to an extent. At the moment they measure 2 3/8" (inside diameter). The width is 11/16" ant the border is a bit over 1/16". It is thicker where the figures are applied. They are in excellent condition. Please note one has a darker patina than the other, I think one was worn more often, hence the lighter color. They are identical, as much as hand made things can be.

There are no markings or characters. They are Chinese Silver which has a Silver content. However, because coinage from other countries was often used to make these, it is very difficult to determine the exact Silver content. When tested, the range is around 800 Silver.
