Gorgeous Antique Victorian Period Repousse 10k Yellow Gold Fleur de Lis shaped watch pin or chatelaine brooch, adorned with a single natural Seed Pearl. The satin finish of antique gold has been left, to me that is a real bonus. It measures a bit over 1" tall by 7/8" wide and since it is dimensional, it is 6mm or almost 1/4" at the thickest point. It weighs 1.9 grams, approximately.

Made to imitate Poured Glass or "Patte de Verre" each bright neon color glass stone is trimmed in gold gilt then set into this huge Maltese Cross shape. Reminiscent of styles made for the famous French Fashion powerhouse by Gripoix, it is certain to turn heads. The pendant is actually a brooch which has a built in hook bail on the back. The gas pipe or snake chain is not original to the pendant brooch and it was made by Monet. It is a marriage that works.

Closes with a basic C clasp, without the safety catch. Dates form the late 1800s. It is in excellent condition, the reddish overtones are light reflections. The color is yellow gold.
