Vintage Smooth French Jet Sautoir Long Necklace

Vintage Smooth French Jet Sautoir Long Necklace is 36" long and has been re-strung recently. It has a newer lobster clasp but the French or Czech glass beads are antique.

French Jet is the name given to black crystal or glass beads. There is an assortment of smooth ones in different shapes and some larger ones which are faceted incorporate into the pattern. It is long enough to wear doubled as a choker or long, flapper style. It looks beautiful when layered with other French Jet Necklaces.
