Vintage studio made Modernist statement necklace with long articulated pendant. Made of Bronze or Brass sheet, hand hammered for texture. The top portion is enhanced by a single round Jade cabochon. The necklace is light and comfortable to wear in spite of its larger dimensions. The pendant measures 6 1/2" long at the center and is 2 1/4" at the widest point. Because it is articulated , it moves when you move and it is not overpowering. A great necklace to showcase when wearing a simple top in the Summer or a sweater in the Winter.
Darling reverse painted Lucite butterfly necklace. The butterfly is hand painted on the reverse of cut out Lucite. The antennae are Sterling with fresh water pearl tips. Pearls are cultured and also used as the element connecting the butterfly to the lovely delicate chain. It's perfect for those who like easy to wear light jewelry. It is signed on the reverse IB and the number 98. It might be the year it was made, 1998, not quite vintage.

This vintage Biomorphic Modernist 900 Silver necklace is one of the most unusual necklaces I have ever seen. Each solid link has a form that is abstract and organic at the same time, resembling the trunk of a tree or the under-cap of a mushroom. Or is it a sea creature?

This is a gorgeous Modernist ring! It is large and it is heavy, massive really and quite architectural. The face alone measures 13/16" long by 1/2" wide and 1/2" tall! It is not for the faint at heart.
Elegant streamline lines that are wide enough to cover a portion of the fingers at each side of the ring. It is a slab of natural Carnelian stone set in Sterling Silver. It is such a well made ring that the design allows for great comfort when worn.
A melange of texture and forms comes together organized in Sterling Silver compartments. This mixture of textures and materials includes Copper, Drusy Agate (great sparkles), Sterling Silver and Vermeil.
With a definite Southwestern influence, I can see a symbolism to the pin overall. The oval is a cloud, the sun face peaks through. The dangles symbolize rain and the little flowers are the crops which result form this magical, albeit natural, cycle. It is a lovely brooch.
