Excellent Victorian Loomed Woven Tassel Lariat Necklace

This necklace is not only beautiful, it is a testimony to the workmanship of Victorian times. It is a loomed piece, hand woven, very labor intensive and beautifully made. Circa 1910, comes form the same Estate collection of the other loomed pieces I have listed right now.

Lariat is 30 3/4" long including the tassels at the ends. Each tassel is 1 3/4" long approximately. Measures 1" wide. The pattern is a beautiful series of opposing diamond shapes which are grouped in sets of three. The result is a heart.

The background color is a deep blue, the diamond shapes are a medium blue and the amber color beads create an alternating border.

It is in excellent shape, having lost only one single bead at the edge as you can see in the pictures. It can be easily repaired or worn as is as I have secured the ends.
