Victorian Period Sardinian Coral Button Gold Ring

Gorgeous 10k Gold Sardinian Coral Ring

This prong set ring is estimated to date from around the 1880s.  Set high on heavy prongs is a beautiful natural Sardinian Coral button. The color is medium coral with hints of peach, not red or orange to me.

Ring is a size 6.75. The coral button is a bit over 1/4" in diameter and reaches up to 5/16" above the hand including the setting.  The ring shank is thick and strong, slightly tapered as a classic solitaire style ring.

It weighs 2.7 grams and is in wonderful condition. Unmarked, it was acid tested and might be 12k gold. Guaranteed to be at least solid 10k Gold.
