A tiny work of art! Small Swiss or Guilloche enamel on Sterling Silver pin by by O. F. Hjortdahl from Oslo, Norway. It measures 1 1/8" wide by 7/16" at the tallest point. The motif is a snowy landscape. The pattern etched on the background mimics the light of the rising sun on the horizon. A single rider is on a sleigh pulled by a reindeer.

It is in excellent vintage condition and dates from 1950s. Signed on the back and marked 925S.
