Vintage Mexican Bracelet in Sterling Silver & Green Stone Masks
Beautiful chunky Sterling Silver Mexican bracelet featuring large Green Stone masks. There are 5 links, 3 are large masks, each measuring 1 1/4" high and 2 are smaller ones at 7/8" tall. Each of the marks is prong set on a Sterling Silver base. The fact that the setting is almost invisible is quite appealing.
Bracelet is heavy and fits a wrist up to 6 1/2" in measurement. It is an older bracelet dating from the 1930s, Art Deco Period. Certainly made before 1939 when the Eagle mark system was instituted by the Mexican Government. It is marked simply "Mexico" and "Sterling". It is entirely hand fabricated. Closes with a hidden built in clasp and safety chain.
Bracelet is in very good condition for it's age considering it is mostly stone. There is one corner on one of the larger masks where there is a chip. Please see images for details. In my opinion it does not detract from it's beauty. Price has been adjusted to reflect this.
